Last week Zara’s online sale (and instore sale) kicked off. I was lucky enough to score some items that I had been eyeing for a while. I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed with the whole process. I’m not sure how it works for the rest of the world, but in Austria you have the option of having the items shipped to your door (3,95€ … cheapest shipping I’ve ever seen) or you can also pick them up at a Zara near you. I chose the shipping. It usually takes 3-5 business days, but they were saying on the order-form that it could take up to 7-10 days due to the sale and many online orders. Well, my package arrived in exactly 5 business days. (I ordered last Monday and am already holding the items in my hands today.)

Also, I ordered the purse at 49,95€ (marked down from 119€ … what a deal, huh?) and the day after ordering it, I saw that it had been marked down even further to 39,99€. I wrote to customer care, asking if it had been an accident and if I could also get it for the cheaper price. While I was expecting to wait weeks to hear back from them, I received a phonecall within one day. The lady was super polite, apologized for the misshap and asked if it was alright if they transfered the difference back to my creditcard account. No need to say that I was very impressed with the whole situation.
