weekend at home & mom’s birthday.

On Friday I left the Lake’s Fashion Days early so I could be with my mom on her birthday. Every once in a while a weekend spent at home with the family and some of your closest friends can be the best vacation there is. After the horrible food, including maggots in a risotto and extremely old eggs, at the hotel (I wont go into details since I feel like this needs to be mentioned to the health authorities and not on my blog) I couldn’t wait to indulge in some deliciousness!! Now that I come to think of it, I didn’t really do much else other than eat all weekend long :) Hope you guys enjoy this little collection of pictures of my weekend as much as I actually enjoyed it!!

{the best drink for the summer: prosecco with aperol and fresh raspberries}
{home sweet home}
{melon & procuitto capaccio as an appetizer}
{my sister got me the adorable light pink bracelet in Berlin last week, looked gorgeous with the rest of the jewelry that I wore}
{the present I picked out for my mom}
{we had a mexican BBQ for my mom’s birthday, I was in charge of the decorations}
{how the table for 22 turned out}
{some of the mexican essentials!!}

{my mommy’s beautiful garden is already in full bloom}

{the side dishes for the BBQ … can you say YUMMY?!!}
