Recently I found myself lacking a little motivation to get myself to the gym. One reason might be that Soph, my workout buddy, was on vacation for the past 4 weeks, another reason might be that it had simply been too long since I worked out in the fresh air. So on Monday I made use of the gorgeous sunshine and decided to go for my first outdoor run of the year. It was AMAZING!!! I totally forgot how much fun running outside is. Yesterday I took my pup for a walk and now I just got back from an hour of power-walking in the woods. Even if the weather isn’t that great, just wear the right clothes and the fresh air will feel so good and leave you energized for the rest of the day.
And while we’re on the topic of running outdoors, are any of my readers from Vienna signing up for the Austrian Frauenlauf tomorrow? It takes place the first weekend of June this year and you can choose between a 5km and a 10km run. I am signing up for the 10km first thing tomorrow morning!! It is always fun to know you’re training for a certain event, my goal is to run the 10km in less than an hour – 55min. would be extra amazing :)
