Red Velvet
I’ll be honest with you guys, when it comes to Fashion Weeks, my outfits don’t look much different than they do most other days. Over the years I have learned that to me personally, it is all about feeling like myself and not about wearing the most extravagant look that feels like a costume or a little girl playing dress-up in mom’s closet. When I feel comfortable, I have a much easier time with smalltalk and meeting new people because I feel more confident in who I am. Does that make any sense?
That’s why, for Milan Fashion Week, I decided to go with what I do best: basics mixed with a statement bag or shoes. Red velvet mules, to be exact. One of my favorite recipes for a winning look is to stick with timeless closet staples (=jeans, blouse, t-shirt or knits) and dress them up with either a bag or pair of heels to catch the eye. Easy enough, right?
In this case, I went with comfortable mom jeans, a slightly oversized white blouse, pulled back hair, black sunglasses and a pop of red on my feet. Oh, and my new Chanel baby. A souvenir from an amazing trip with the brand to Cannes 2 weeks ago and the first CC addition to my bag collection. But more on that later this week…

ich habe sie in 28 (da es keine 27 gibt bei Topshop – aus welchem Grund auch immer). Allerdings werde ich sie mir jetzt neu in 26 bestellen, da die 28 schon sehr weit sitzt und nur direkt aus dem Trockner wirklich tragbar ist.
