Pink, Blush & Pudre

“Dear Siberian weather, we get it – you are cool (literally). Now please move on to someplace else and make way for Spring!”

With -10°C or more (less?!) on the thermometer every week, it is starting to become a bit difficult to dress the part. I feel like no matter what I wear, it is not enough. Then I step inside somewhere and instantly break out in a sweat with my 700 layers. At the beginning of the week, I had a breakfast meeting in Vienna, from which I had to hop straight into the car to a 3-hour workshop I held in St. Pölten.

I wanted to be warm but also look somewhat put together. Leaving the house with anything else than my warm paws aka the Isabel Marant Nowles boots (currently on sale!) was not an option, so I tried to build an outfit around it that would hide them. While I adore the boots and think they look spot on with a pair of denim or warm leggings in a ski resort, they are not necessarily very elegant. That’s when the long velvet palazzo pants came into play. Sticking with my color palette (and warmest jacket), I added some more blush pink and poudre to the mix.

Not pictured: The giant scarf, cashmere lined gloves and 20 layers of lip balm…

outfit details: MANGO pink velvet pants (sold out,  but similar here or here), Closed sweater, ZARA faux fur coat, Isabel Marant Nowles boots, Ray-Ban sunglasses & Chanel classic flap bag in medium

Wow, love this look, I always loved blushy and pink in spring, hopefully the horrible cold weather is leaving soon and leaves some space for sunshine!

Also the pictures are really beautiful, besides of course you and the outfit!
