So after a weekend filled with eating left-over cupcakes and indulding way too much, I am now officially detoxing as of yesterday. Soph and I are doing an alkaline detox, where you’re only allowed to eat alkaline fruits and veggies along with almonds as the only nuts. NO dairy or meat what-so-ever!! I have to admit, I am definitely missing my morning lattes but other than that I am doing pretty well and the 2nd day is almost over :) I even made chilli and other meals for the boy without slipping from my detox. The good thing is that I haven’t actually been hungry inbetween meals. Also I’m trying to get as much time at the gym in as possible since I’ll be in my bikini in less than 6 weeks :) I thought some of you might be interested in what I ate during my first day of detoxing, for those of you who aren’t there are also some shots of my outfit :) Classes started again today and unfortunately I was fooled by the beautiful sunshine, thinking I could wear these shorts and moccasins out which left me pretty cold!

If I get hungry inbetween meals I snack on dried apples or have 3-4 almonds. I also try to drink 3L of tap water or peppermint-lemongrass tea.
