OOTD & detoxing.

So after a weekend filled with eating left-over cupcakes and indulding way too much, I am now officially detoxing as of yesterday. Soph and I are doing an alkaline detox, where you’re only allowed to eat alkaline fruits and veggies along with almonds as the only nuts. NO dairy or meat what-so-ever!! I have to admit, I am definitely missing my morning lattes but other than that I am doing pretty well and the 2nd day is almost over :) I even made chilli and other meals for the boy without slipping from my detox. The good thing is that I haven’t actually been hungry inbetween meals. Also I’m trying to get as much time at the gym in as possible since I’ll be in my bikini in less than 6 weeks :) I thought some of you might be interested in what I ate during my first day of detoxing, for those of you who aren’t there are also some shots of my outfit :) Classes started again today and unfortunately I was fooled by the beautiful sunshine, thinking I could wear these shorts and moccasins out which left me pretty cold!

If I get hungry inbetween meals I snack on dried apples or have 3-4 almonds. I also try to drink 3L of tap water or peppermint-lemongrass tea.

    das essen klignt wirklich super, hatte auch vor nach dem abi oder eher gesagt nach den lernwochen mit viel zu viel sitzen und essen und viel zu wenig bewegung sowas in der art zu machen hast du einen tipp wo man die rezepte herbekommt?

    @cherrybee: die rezepte hab ich mir soweit alle selbst ausgedacht, je nachdem auf was ich lust hatte und was im kühlschrank ist. was ich gerade mache heißt "Basenfasten" und wenn du das mal bei google eingibst findest du haufenweise links und da sind auch tabellen dabei was basisch ist und was nicht. alles was basisch ist ist erlaubt :)

    I wish I could eat healthy…I really need to start but its hard when I still live at home and don't want to annoy my mom by cooking something else for me, haha….

    @mallory: no :( unfortunately soy products or tofu aren't allowed either since they are more acid than alkaline and harder for the body to digest.

    here is a list of some alkaline vs. acidic foods:

    I'm not really doing the detox to shed pounds but rather to do good for my body and especially my skin. My immunesystem has had a pretty bad winter and my skin is acting up a little. By eating right a lot of that can be improved :) That's mainly why I am detoxing!

    i love your top. i can totally relate to you on how cold it is. i always think it will be warmer, but it hasn't been yet! hopefully soon.

    i had a fruit salad for breakfast as well!
    Your detoxing is almost like what i always eat. Being a vegetarian, although I eat not only alkaline foods, or I think that wouldn't be healthy to do for my whole life. hah. But props to you on detoxing and becoming healtheir!
