Last night was my sister’s birthday party, which she wanted to have in an “oktoberfest” theme. The “Dirndl” and “Lederhosn” are the traditional austrian clothes and I have to admit, I love any occasion to get my “Dirndl” out.

I was in charge of the table decorations and while my sister requested white roses, one of my mom’s friends came up with the great idea of using old beer mugs as vases. Other than that we kept everything in blue and white, the traditional bavarian colors and added little brezels and candles everywhere. I think it turned out really well.
Everyone came dressed up and they even went bar-hopping like that. I fell in love with the girls “Dirndl” on the very left of this picture:
There were little roses stiched onto the dress and I love the fuchsia color of the apron.
