best served on ice.
Lately, I have been really happy. I don’t know how else to put it. It is hard to find the exact reason or words to describe the feeling, but after a very travel-intense month in April with barely any time at home or with Mike (aka my rock), May has been such a welcome change in pace.
We celebrated my mom’s birthday with the whole family and my brother even flew in from Australia, the weather is finally starting to look like Summer is coming our way, my sister is back in Vienna after 9 month in Berlin (meaning: we’re back to Sunday pasta nights) and I have had time to spend at home, enjoying Vienna. Not to mention that Mike and I will be on our way to California for a vacation in less than 48 hours and I am super prepared in terms of work (for once!) so it will actually mean some time off. I’d say things are pretty damn good right now and worth celebrating with a glass of champagne or two.
Moët & Chandon Ice Impérial
Best served on ice: Moët Ice Impérial is the very first refreshing champagne to be enjoyed over ice, in large glasses and lots of sunshine. To me, the Moët Ice Impérial always reminds me of Summer vacations, so it was only fitting to open a bottle with two of my favorite people last Friday. We did as the house of Moët & Chandon suggests – “celebrate the now” – and celebrated the sunshine, good food and weekend.
– enjoy responsibly –
For my birthday this year, I wished for new plants (shame on me and my not-so-green-thumb) from my parents. My mom came to Vienna last week to help me get the terrace ready for Summer and I am so in love with the way things have turned out. Lots of greens, a few light pink roses and my favorite addition: the kumquat tree.
