Manhattan Bridge
Whenever I am in L.A., I think it is my favorite city ever. When I am in New York, I am convinced it is the cooles city in the world. It is hard to compare the two when you ask me, but right now I am 100% in love with New York. Probably because that is where I am at right now.
One of my favorite ways to travel, is when I get to return to places I already “know”. New York is amongst those (so is L.A.). It being my 5th visit, I have seen most of the sights and finally feel like I can somewhat grasp the city. Meaning: in the sense that I know which areas I like the best, where my favorite places to eat are and where I want to spend most of my time. However, one spot that had always been missing on my personal map of exploration in New York was Brooklyn. That’s why, after coffee and an 8am SoulCycle class followed my an almond butter acai bowl, the first thing on the agenda was catching a subway over to Brooklyn to wander through Williamsburg, grab some lunch at “Sunday in Brooklyn“, head over to Dumbo and then back to Manhattan over the Manhattan Bridge by foot. In contrast to the famous (and very touristy) Brooklyn Bridge, a Manhattan Bridge walk is much less crowded and offers and amazing view of Brooklyn Bridge while bringing you right to Canal Street and Chinatown.

für mich ist new york auch eine der coolsten Städte und ich war schon drei mal dort und möchte unbedingt bald mal wieder hin. vielleicht diesen winter 😉
brooklyn mag ich besonders gerne, da man von dort immer diesen wahnsinnig tollen blick auf manhatten hat! dein look passt perfekt zum vibe der city, auch wenn dein shirt natürlich nach l.a. schreit 😉

Ich war schon einige Male in NY – aber diese Stadt reizt mich einfach nicht…irgendwie klappt das mit mir und NY so gar nicht. Geht mir aber mit Paris genau so….
Aber die Bilder sind wunderschön.
Was ich auch nicht so gerne mag, das sind diese kleinen Rucksäcke – die sieht man immer an einem ganz bestimmten Typus Frau, den ich hier nicht näher beschreiben möchte (und der bist du absolut nicht) – die haben so etwas “Hausbackenes” an sich. Egal welches Label.
Zu diesem Outfit würde mir eine coolere, jüngere, lässigere Tasche viel besser gefallen. Denn kleiner Rucksack und Turnschuhe schreien auch immer so ein wenig nach “Ich bin Tourist”…und wer will sich als solcher sofort enttarnen?

danke dir für deinen Input zum Thema Rucksack 🙂 Ich glaube das ist einfach Geschmacksache. Ausserdem muss ich ehrlich sagen, dass wenn man den ganzen Tag eine Spiegelreflexkamera mit sich schleppt, so ein Rucksack schon etwas sehr feines ist. Eine Tasche finde ich bei über 15km weniger praktisch mit so schwerem Inhalt. Da enttarne ich mich auch gerne als Tourist – bin ich ja schließlich auch.

Zudem möcht‘ ich mich als Fan deines Ruckssackes outen und fragen, ob das ehrlich der Mini Faye ist? Die Größe ist perfekt und sieht nach meinem Geschmack gar nicht nach Tourist aus, sondern einfach total lässig und gekonnt!
