jamie & i.

One of my birthday presents was an amazing Jamie Oliver cook book. I remember that a while back my parents were invited to a party and gave this book to the host. I might have mentioned that I would love to keep it, little did I know it would be mine a few days later! So after a long day of shopping in Salzburg with my mom yesterday, I decided to try some new recipes from the book for dinner with the family. It features original meals from Spain, Italy, Marokko, Greece, France and Sweden. My appetizer was from Greece and the main course from Sweden :) And without wanting to compliment myself, it was delish!!!! Definitely can’t wait to try lots of new Jamie-recipes!!
“Spinattoasts Auf Griechische Art” – greek spinach-toasts … super yummy with a glas of wine!
**what it looks like when Jamie makes it :)
pikeperch filets marinated in olive oil with salt and pepper
“Zander Mit Spinat Auf Geröstetem Betesalat” – pikeperch filets with babyspinach on roasted beetroot salad … my mom and I are obsessed with the beetroot salad, definitely making this by itself with a slice of bread soon!!

PS. this is the book! The recipes I used are on page 134 and 260.
Do any of you guys know any of his books or recipes? Anything you would recommend?

I love making his semi-fredo. Especially in the summer. I like to serve it with grilled fruit (plums work beautifully!). The recipe is in his first cook book. Looks like you enjoy food as much as I do! Check out my blog…
