Due to popular demand, I have finally decided to do a post about my hair care. I know I have talked about my shampoo (HERE and HERE) or the moroccan oil (HERE) in a few posts, but a real hair-care-post has never made its way onto my blog. The reason for that being not because I want to keep it a secret, but simply because there isn’t much to say.
I was blessed with thick and strong hair. Growing up I found it to be quite the pain in the a** but lately I’ve learned to appreciate it more and more. I guess it’ll be a while before I go bald :) I don’t like too much product in my hair and try to keep it to a minimum. I didn’t even own hairspray until last spring …
3. After I shower I towl-dry my hair and apply 2-3 pumps of Moroccanoil to the ends.
4. I blow-dry my hair straight (with a very slight curl at the end) with a Rowenta hair dryer and round brush.
Thats it :) Not really a big deal and no secrets to it … However, I used to straighten my hair with a flat iron on a daily basis when I was in high school. For the past few years I have been blow-drying my hair straight with a simple round brush instead and have noticed BIG improvements. My hair breaks off a lot less and I have less split ends. It takes some getting used to, to work with the round brush, but I have grown to love it and even my long hair is dry in about 10-15 minutes with that technique.
If you guys have any other questions that aren’t covered in this post, just shoot :)
UPDATE: Since many of you asked about the Moroccanoil here is a list of where you can get it. Thanks to a few readers for their tips ♥
– cosme-de.com (online cosmetic shop – ships to 160 countries)
– a small hair dresser on Wipplingerstr. in Vienna (towards Tuchlauben)
– hagelshop.de (for my german readers)
**be sure to compare prices & shipping … some of these are pretty high!! I paid around 46$ for my Morrocanoil at Planet Beauty last spring.
