Today in the morning I was passed the „Hello Lover – Shoe Tag“ by the lovely Sophie from The Littlest Things. Even though I love myself a super hot pair of heels, I am also a huge fan of cute flats and sandals for my daytime outfits to go to class and run errands. I have recently revised my shopping strategy a little. I feel that I am now old and mature enough (yeah right!!) to make smart shopping decisions and invest in long-lasting special pieces. Keeping that in mind, here are my 7 pairs of „want/need/wish-for“ shoes that I am trying to make part of my closet in the future.
I fell in love with these Miu Miu wedges the second I laid eyes on them. I know this season is all about the cat- and bird-print but I think these are just as great and a tad more timeless.
I have been crushing on the Tory Burch flats forever now and am finally decided to treat myself to a pair this summer. I am not 100% decided on which color/material to go for yet, all I know is that I want a light color. There is simply too much black going on in my shoe-closet.
Every girl should own a pair of red soles and a pair of classic black pumps. The Christian Louboutin patent pump seems like it could never possibly be “unfashionable”. Definitely on my list of future-investments :)
Another pump that is right at the top of my wish-list, maybe even at the very top is the YSL platform pump in gray suede. If I could, I would go out this second to get myself a pair, thats how much I adore them!!
While these are some that I can only drool over pictures at the moment, I also have a few favorites which I already own. Obviously these are more along the lines of a college-student-budget, but I love them just as much.
Zara black suede flats – I got these last fall and they go with just about any outfit. On top of being incredibly comfortable they fit into just about any bag and are a perfect “just-in-case” pair for when the high-heels start hurting too much :)
Zara black studded heels – These go really well with any simple black outfit to spice things up a little. Due to the heel being a little chunkier, these are pretty easy to walk in and I can easily dance night in them.
Steve Madden ‘sannibel’ leather sandals – I’m almost slightly embarrassed to post a picture of these because they have been worn like there is no tomorrow. I got these summer of 2008 and have basically been living in them every warm day since then. They are so easy to slip into and are the perfect fit for my foot!!

P.S. I also wanted to thank you all again for continuing to stop by Bikinis & Passports. I love all the feedback and comments and it means so much to me! Blogging really does open the doors to lots of wonderful people and I am so thankful for that!
