I know, I know – I am waaaay behind with this posting but I thought some of you might still like to see what I got. The wonderful March GLOSSYBOXES were delivered more than a week ago but to be honest, I’ve been so busy with work, blog-related meetings and my sister’s visit that I didn’t even get a chance to take a peek inside the box until just now. Of course I already saw some of the other girl’s boxes but it is still exciting and fun to unpack your own and to see which of the products you received.
Even though most of you are probably familiar with the concept of GLOSSYBOX, I’d still like to tell you about a few changes that took place recently: Due to certain circumstances the prices had to be raised. The box now costs 14€ per month + 3,95€ shipping. That adds up to almost 18€ which I think is quite a bit, unless of course you are happy with all the products – then it is a pretty good deal for 5 beauty products! But they have an Easter special going on right now where you can save 5€ which brings you back to 12,95€ for the box. (Simply click HERE and enter ‘glossy_easter’ at check-out to receive the discount.)
Since I just opened the box I can’t tell you too much about it yet. But here is a quick run-down: I love the color of the Artdeco eye-shadow (a pearly nude) and it will definitely be great for every day wear with a bit of eye-liner and mascara. I don’t take many baths, but when I do I always use bath-salt, so the Saint Charles Cosmetics bath-salt will be given a try with the next bath. As most of you know I have super thick hair so I always use some kind of oil after washing it. I’ve already tried the Oil Miracle by Schwarzkopf before and really liked it. A great product-size for travelling!
The Korres Natural Products lemon-basil shower gel smells really fresh and yummy, plus the size is also great for travelling. During the summer I never leave the house without a little sun-protection on my face, which is exactly what the Tiroler Nussöl is. I like that I have sunscreen and lip balm in one and it is small enough to throw into my purse. Since I have super dry skin I’m excited to try the Avéne thermalspray, sounds perfectly refreshing on a hot summer day!! And lastly, the quicky nail file / buffer by Manoa Cristal: I guess I didn’t need another nail file but it is definitely something I’ll use one day.
In total I can say that even though there aren’t any products I am crazy about (like Clinique mascara, Kiehl’s lotion or Kérastase hair oil in the January box) I am still happy with the content. I can make use of every single thing and get to experiment with lots of new brands. I also like the fact that natural products are included since my skin is pretty sensitive and I try to stick to simple products. Did any of you receive a GLOSSYBOX this month? How did you like the products?
**the March GLOSSYBOX was given to me free of charge and without any conditions. All of the views expressed above are my personal opinion and were NOT paid for!!
