On Wednesday I was invited to attend the opening of the new s.Oliver concept store here in Vienna, located right on Mariahilfer Straße. Now, for those of you that know the brand, you’ll understand that my expectations weren’t the greatest. Right when I got out of high school I worked in retail for s.Oliver, it was my first “real” job :) But even though we got great employee discounts, I never really shopped there because I didn’t like the stuff. It was too basic and bland for my taste.
Well, as you know, it’s always good to go into things with low expectations, they can only be topped :) I was super suprised by what the new concept store had to offer. They have a really cute and detailed vintage inspired feel to the whole place, which was also carried over to the theme of the party. Think: a hot dog stand, girls passing out old fashioned candy, drinking coke out of bottles with straws, a 50s band, … it was fun and I even saw some things around the store that I would wear myself.
PS. more pictures of my outfit in tomorrow’s post :)
PPS. today is the day of the FaschionCamp Vienna 2011 and I am soo excited. Just about to leave right now to help the girls with some last minute preparations. For those of you that would love to take part but didn’t make it to Vienna, you can follow us all day via livestream HERE. And of course I’ll have a super-duper long post for you on Monday ♥
