DO NOT CONTINUE READING THIS POST IF YOU HAVEN’T RECEIVED YOUR BOX YET AND WANT THE PRODUCTS TO BE A SURPRISE!!!
As of this morning, most of the Austrian GLOSSYBOXES should be shipped and hopefully they’ll make their way to your doorstep by tomorrow morning. I was lucky enough to receive mine yesterday morning and can give you guys an exclusive sneak-peek of whats inside the pretty box this month. (You can see the post about last month’s box HERE)
For those that aren’t familiar with the concept yet: the box can be purchased for 11,99€ per month (10€ in Germany) and contains 5 different beauty products of brands such as Kiehl’s, Kerastasé, O.P.I., Paul Mitchell or Clinique. How fun is it to receive a gorgeous pink box every month, full of girly surprises?
This month my box contained perfume by Issey Miyake, a hair mask by Swiss Haircare, lip gloss from Cosline, nail polish by Jessica Cosmetics and L’Oréal hair spray. The rosé packaging of the perfume and the nail polish definitely caught my attention first.
The perfume “L’Eau D’Issey Florale” is a girly and flowery scent. It seemed very familiar to me, I think my mom used to have the regular L’Eau D’Issey. I really like the scent when applied lightly, especially for summer & spring.
I think nail polish is probably one of my most used beauty products (apart from mascara and lotion). Therefore this is also my #1 product from this month’s selection. The color “purple edge” by Jessica Cosmetics is a deep blue-ish purple with a pretty shimmery effect.
The clear lip gloss by Cosline is one of those products I am not exactly jumping up and down for but also don’t hate. It works for everybody but personally I prefer to stick to lip balm when I want something clear. However I might give this a try over my M.A.C. amplified “impassioned” lipstick to add a little shine to it.
Generally I like to try new things to treat my hair to a little rejuvenation. However the “Volume Mask” by Swiss Haircare is made for thin and weak hair, which is definitely the opposite of my hair. Extra volume is the last thing I want for my super thick hair, but I do have a few friends who will definitely appreciate this a lot.
Now this is another product I am very pleased with. The “tecni.art Air Fix” hair spray by L’Oréal is supposed to provide a strong hold and help against frizziness due to humidity. Exactly what I needed and it is also the perfect size to carry in my purse.
What do you guys think about this months products? There are 3 I really like, one that I would love if my hair was different and one I don’t really care about but don’t mind either. Btw, the February GLOSSYBOX was sold out by mid-January, but as far as I know there are still some March boxes available, you can purchase them HERE.
PS. Be sure to check back tomorrow morning for a fun giveaway ♥ a tiny hint: it has something to do with one of my favorite products in the box :)
