Yesterday, Sophie and I decided to dig deep in our mama’s drawers and be crafty. We found all kinds of detailed buttons, delicate lace, pretty beads and pearls, … After gathering our treasures we sat down all afternoon and made pretty little somethings. I spent most of my time working on a necklace, somewhat inspired by Olivia Palermos new necklace collection, done for Roberta Freymann. In the meantime Sophie created some unique rings with vintage buttons and a lace-broach. It is so much fun to make your own jewelry and to know you won’t run into someone wearing the same piece.

P.S.: The ring I am wearing in this last picture is part of my little online shopping spree from last week. I didn’t expect it to be that big but totally adore it. Also, I will have to return the zip cami, it doesn’t fit right :( Other than that I love everything!

love DYI !this for sure has left me inspired. I need to spend less time bonding with my mac and more with my closet and some vintage dollies and a sewing machine!

I always have trouble finding cut things to DYI with, any suggestions? You haven't happened to come across an amazing online site for little 'dollies' or whatever you would call an assortment of buttons, lace, etc ..

    love your blog xx

And yess I put you as one of my favourites :) I came across your blog, and loved it and just assumed you'd been blogging for ages, but then I saw your archive and realised we started at the same time haha.

I hope you have a fantastic Easter weekend!
