OUTFIT + POPUP SHOP: #nichtaltmodisch by Zalando

When it comes to shopping, I rarely shop offline anymore. It’s not that I don’t like going into stores and boutiques, but much more the fact that I enjoy the freedom shopping online gives me. I can shop when- and wherever I want. I can virtually travel around the world to thousands of sellers and click my way through far more items than I could ever sift through in an actual shop. Long story short: I love shopping online – and I am guessing most of you do too.

OUTFIT: palazzo meets denim

On Monday, Kathi and I finally had a chance to try Slow Tacos by the Danube Canal for the first time. So good! Since I had spent most of the day cleaning the apartment and decluttering our kitchen, I wasn’t really in the mood to get dressed-up for going out. Luckily, Slow Tacos is super laid back and casual, so I wore the next best thing to pajamas, aka my beloved palazzo pants. Paired with a denim shirt and leo espadrilles, I was really to stuff my belly with Mexican food.
Editor’s Tipp: Wearing loose-fitted clothing is highly recommended when dining at Slow Tacos!

VIENNA: Fashion For Europe with Coca-Cola

Sometimes, it amazes me how great of a city Vienna truly is. Not only is it a beautiful place to call home (I adore living here), but also a worldly city that hosts some amazing, international events. Last weekend, the famous Lifeball – one of the most amazing charity events out there – was celebrated, and this week we are getting ready for the Eurovision Song Contest. The week has lots of highlights leading up to the big show on Saturday, and yesterday I got to see the #FashionForEurope show with Coca-Cola. The young designer Joël Macher from the Fashion Institute at Herbststraße had the honor of designing some incredibly creative dresses for Coca-Cola, which the presenting girls at last nights show wore. Joël won a contest to design the exclusive dresses and each dress was an ode to the original coke bottle, which is currently celebrating it’s 100th anniversary. I loved how flow-y and delicate they were and how each dress embodied the Coca-Cola bottle in a unique and subtle way – I simply had to share some images from last night with you!

OUTFIT: a night at the Opera

Some experiences are simply #bucketlist worthy. Whether or not you live in Vienna, the Opera Ball is definitely one of those things. Every year, I’ve followed along on TV, but always imagined what I would be like to actually be there. Well, this year I got to experience the ball. Naturally, one of the most important things for the night was finding the perfect dress. Back in December I already shared a little preview, and today I can finally show you the entire look, shot with the stunning Opera in the background! Since so many of you asked: I found the dress at Peek & Cloppenburg and it is by the Jora Collection. The selection of dresses at the cocktail departments of both P&C stores here in Vienna is amazing, and I actually had a hard time choosing just one dress… But once I put on the peachy nude dress with the embellished body, it was love at first sight. Timeless and elegant, just the right amount of sparkle and an almost perfect fit (I had it altered just a little around the waist and the length adjusted to my heels).
