As promised, here are some pictures of the new gray jersey blazer I bought yesterday. I love the length of it. During my search, I also tried on a different one; really liked the jersey of it but it was a little shorter and didn’t fit quite as well as the other one. On Monday, I want to head over to a fabric store to get different buttons to sew on, I would love some brushed silver ones with an anchor on them to add a little spice to the blazer. With the comfortable feel and great fit, I am sure this purchase will get lots and lots of use this season.
Also, I adore the new orange fizz nail polish I got. Flirty and perfect for spring. I can’t wait to get a little tan, I think the color will look even better against bronzed skin. I’m sorry these pictures aren’t that great, only had a little time before heading out for saturday-brunch at Rochus with 3 girlfriends. The food there is absolutely delicious (truffled scrambled eggs, home-made iced tea with fresh mango puree, hummus, grilled grapefruit with vanilla …) and the vibe is just the right amount of chic and relaxed. I didn’t bring my camera but I am sure that I’ll be back soon for a wonderful breakfast and some pictures.

At night I went out for drinks at Chill-Out Lounge with Mike and a few of our friends. I think the blazer transitions perfectly well from leisure daytime wear to somewhat dressy night attire. Once again, slightly in a rush so only a few mirror pictures. The boys were busy playing NBA on the playstation, in the meantime I just snapped these quickly before heading out. This was one of the rare occasions I wore my flared jeans. Even though I adore the fit and feel of these Hudsons, I have become such a skinny-jean girl. Do you guys like the flared or not so much?
