It seem this past month has been filled with amazing blog-related events – the blogger corner at district 1, lots of meetings for exciting collaborations in the future, the Vienna Awards & last night the Kérastase and Helena Rubinstein event. L’Oreal invited some press and fellow bloggers to experience a blissful day of relaxation. We had our hair done by the wonderful people of Kérastase, ate delicious food by 12 munchies & got pretty-fied with a professional facial and make-up by Helena Rubinstein … heaven on a Wednesday afternoon!! I was lucky to have my appointment scheduled with the lovely Victoria and it is safe to say we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

On Monday night the 4th annual Vienna Awards took place. It was such a wonderful evening, all about fashion & lifestyle and I am super happy that I was able to be a part of it all. Wonderful blogger company at the table, great view of the runway, a super funny host, delicious food and even better drinks … I’d call the the night a definite success!! About a week ago I received a wonderful package from Dior, filled with some products of the new Dior Summer 2012 Croisette Make-Up Collection. This weekend I finally had time to test the products and snap a few pictures for you guys.
The product I was most excited about was the HydraLife BB Cream. As most of you know, I’ve been using a BB Cream from Korea instead of regular foundation for years now. I love how it covers the redness just enough without hiding my freckles, plus it never dries out my skin!
{Dior HydraLife BB Cream}
My first impression of the Dior BB Cream was that it is a little too dark. Definitely more of a match for my skin in the summer BUT it blends REALLY well and after applying my MAC skin finish over it the color seemed to work. Both my mom and sister said it looked natural and after seeing the picture above I have to agree.
I also like the fact that it comes with a pump which makes it super easy to dispense. I used about 4 pumps for my entire face – forehead, both cheeks & chin.

Such a gorgeous color for summer!! I’ll definitely try this soon and show you guys some pictures of how it look on the nails. I think a peachy orange is always a pretty choice for spring and summer because it looks so fresh and clean.
{Dior Addict Ultra Gloss 542 “flash” & Dior Addict Lipstick 544 “jet-set”}
At first the vibrant orange color of the gloss and lipstick scared me a little. But once I applied the lipstick I saw that the color was much more subtle than expected and actually looked really pretty. I’m wearing it today at work (and in the first picture of this post) and think it has more of a pink-ish touch once applied.
What do you guys think about the new make-up collection for the summer?!
